1. 'Writing Goals' - 8/11/17 - Write down two goals you have as a writer this year. We'll talk about them in your first 1x1 conference beginning next week.

2. Rambling Autobiography - 8/14/17 - This is a 7-minute writing activity. You will write the story of your life in this time.
Some tips:
- Imagine your life is 'flashing before your eyes'.
- Catch at least 12 of these 'flashes' and write them down.
- This is a 'stream of consciousness' exercise. Each thought may not be connected to the next.
- Use imagery to 'paint a picture' of these snapshots of your life.

3. 'Character Comparison' - 8/17/17
- Pick a character that you have been exposed to through our reading so far. Can you relate to this character? How? What are some similarities or differences?
1 paragraph minimum

4. 'Crucible Predictions' - 8/23or24/17
- Make two predictions for The Crucible. Add some detail to ensure you get at least a paragraph.

5. 'Who's Guilty?' - 8/25/17
Choose one of the following two prompts to write about today:
  • Have you ever been accused of something you didn't do? How did you feel? How did you handle the situation?
or
  • Based on what you know so far, who's guilty in The Crucible. What are they guilty of?

6. 'Let Down'
- Write about a time someone let you down. One paragraph minimum.

7. 'The End of The Crucible'
- What did you think of the end of The Crucible? Would you have done the same as Giles Corey or John Proctor? Explain?.
